A little bit about me...
I'm am a casual, learner photographer based in Invercargill. I have been passionate about photography for as long as I can remember - taking a million and one photos of my (very patient) dogs, friends and the beautiful Southland landscapes that we are lucky enough to have on our doorstep.
I currently live in Invercargill with my partner, one cat and four dogs - life is very busy but I am never short of models! I was born in London moving over with my family in 2000 to the busy city life of Auckland. I made the big move down to the South Island about 5 years ago now and have never really looked back! I have a large background in dairy farming and in animal health. I qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2013 and a Rural Animal Technician in 2014, and now I currently work full-time for a Seed and Feed Company.
My love for photography got bumped up a few notches in December 2015 when my partner, Mitch, brought me my first proper camera. Needless to say I was very out of my depth with the ins and outs of this very daunting new piece of equipment. However, after a lot of trial and error I have slowly begun to learn how to properly use this amazing piece of technology. I am still very new to the entire process but am learning something new every time I pick up my camera or edit a photo.
I have always loved natural photography with minimal editing, which is a style I try and portray into my work. A photograph showing a moment of pure emotion speaks a thousand words which, I believe is the ultimate goal when capturing photographs.
If you like what you see from my portfolios, feel free to get in touch and enquire about booking a shoot. I am flexible with travel outside of Invercargill and will work with you to choose the perfect time and date to capture some memories!
